summer choral opportunities

Join Simpson College and CORO for an exciting season of choral performance and education during the summer of 2018! Choral scholars can earn their Master of Music in Choral Conducting in three consecutive summer terms at Simpson College. CORO hosts week-long institutes for both Composers and Conductors. The season includes a choral festival with performances of major works by our Festival Chorus, new choral music performed by our CORO Vocal Artists and CORO Young Artists. Additionally, all graduate students in our 3-Summer Master of Music in Choral Conducting program lead the CORO Vocal Artists and Young Artists in concert performances during the summer.

CORO Publishing has both secular and sacred pieces suitable for all levels of choruses. We actively seek new and unpublished choral works, as well as modern editions of earlier works. CORO Publishing also looks to the standard choral repertoire of the western canon and creates new editions in order to bring these compositions to a broader audience.
