Coro is inspired by the desire to foster the development and enhancement of choral music by providing recordings and concert programming that enriches and excites the souls of both our vocalists and audience.
Coro offers all members the opportunity to perform a diverse repertoire of music through a wide variety of programming that includes chamber vocal music, standard choral octavos, and commissioned works. It is the goal of Coro to provide the highest level of education to young choral musicians through recordings, clinics, and collaborative workshops and membership in the Coro Vocal Academy. In addition to large scale education programs, young singers are able to further their choral and vocal education through voice lessons taught by professional members of the ensemble, coachings with both the Artistic Director and Associate Conductor, and observations of rehearsals.

Recently our Artistic Director has moved to Tucson, AZ and Coro plans to expand the organization and create the Coro Vocal Academy in Arizona with opportunities for both Tucson and Phoenix based high school students. The new ensembles will begin in the fall of 2010.
